Crafted from sustainably sourced wood, the #WoodBack is a distinctive, natural skin for your MacBook Pro 13" (M1 / M2, 2020-2022). Handmade from real wood, each one is completely unique. As well as looking good, the #WoodBack is designed to protect your MacBook from scratches and nicks. Just think of it as your very own work of art, all courtesy of Mother Nature.

Sporting a profile of just 0.7mm, the #WoodBack Skin is around the thickness of a credit card, so once it's fitted, you'll hardly notice it's there - other than for its striking good looks! Using the latest 3M technology, the #WoodBack easily sticks to the back of your MacBook providing long-lasting cover without unwanted peeling. When it's time to remove your skin, just gently peel it away - it won't leave any residue behind.

Combining modern and traditional craftsmanship, each piece of wood is laser cut, before being hand-sanded (the good old fashioned way!) to create a super smooth exterior. Coated with a specially selected finish made from a blend of vegetable oils and waxes, the raw wood is given a subtle natural shine that allows it to age beautifully over time - with added protection from water and everyday dirt.

No response to my emails regarding order.

After receiving my order in the mail, I had noticed an indented area on the cover and had asked for an exchange, so I emailed the [****] several times with no response. I am very disappointed and quite sad about this lack of communication and being stuck having paid good money for a product I was not 100% happy with.

My third Cover-Up purchase… Actually 4th, as I needed this as a replacement for the bottom skin on my MacBook Pro when the corner snagged on something as I rushed to shift between classrooms and not be late for my next students. It wasn’t until I left that classroom that I notice a corner of the base skin had snapped off. Six months between the two purchases, but the replacement bottom skin still matched well with the top skin, and was an ease to install. The wood skins never cease to amaze and get compliments from students and colleagues. Thanks.

Macbook Must Have

This is my second skin from Cover-Up and as expected the build quality is great and it was very easy to install. I really like the scoring they do to the skin so that it follows the contours of my MacBook. The skin is also thick enough that I’m not worried it won’t protect my laptop. I also requested for my skin to have no apple cutout and they accommodated that request.

One last thing, in terms of customer service they really came through. My initial order never showed up actually (I waited about 2 months - compensating for shipping problems due to COVID-19). When I contacted Cover-Up support, they were very understanding and offered to send me a replacement cover. I got the re-sent cover and now I’m a very happy customer.
