Terms of service
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms cover two things: using our website, and buying from us. We've written them in plain English — if anything's unclear, email us at help@cover-up.com and a real human in Wales will explain.
Who we are
Cover-Up is a registered trademark and trading name of Infinity Creations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11354317, VAT number 296859818). Our registered office is 4 Stoney Lane, Corntown, Vale of Glamorgan, CF35 5AL, United Kingdom. Our workshop and trading address is Unit 1c, Kingsway Buildings, Bridgend Industrial Estate, Bridgend, CF31 3YH, United Kingdom.
Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "Cover-Up" mean Infinity Creations Ltd; "you" means you, the visitor or customer; and "the website" means www.cover-up.com.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights — in particular your rights under consumer protection law, which remain unaffected and in full force.
Part 1 — Using our website
Access and acceptable use
You're welcome to browse, shop and share links to our website. You agree not to misuse it — that means no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no interfering with its operation or security, no introducing malicious code, and no using our content or systems for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or withdraw access to the website (or any part of it) where necessary, and we may update or remove content at any time.
Content, accuracy and product images
We take care to keep the information on our website accurate and current, but we can't promise it's free of errors, and content may change at any time. One thing worth knowing rather than burying: our products are made from real natural materials, so product photos show a representative piece — the grain, colour and patterning of yours will be its own. That's the nature of the materials, not a defect.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, images, product designs, logos and the Cover-Up name and trademark — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission. You're welcome to link to our pages, provided you do so fairly and legally, and don't suggest any association or endorsement where none exists.
Reviews and photos you share with us
If you leave a review or send us photos (for example through our reviews provider or our returns portal), you confirm the content is yours and you give us permission to display and use it in connection with our products and website. We'll never use your content in a way that misrepresents you, and you can ask us to take a review or photo down at any time.
Links to other websites
Where our website links to third-party sites, those links are provided for convenience — we don't control those sites and a link isn't an endorsement. We aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Our liability for website use
We provide the website "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from use of (or inability to use) the website itself — though nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Part 2 — Buying from us
Ordering and contract formation
When you place an order you'll receive an order confirmation email — that's us acknowledging your order, not yet accepting it. The contract between us is formed when we send your dispatch (shipping) confirmation. If we can't fulfil an order — for example, a pricing error or a delivery destination we can't reach — we'll tell you as soon as possible and refund anything you've paid.
By placing an order you confirm you're legally capable of entering into a contract.
Prices and payment
Prices shown include UK VAT (or equivalent sales tax) where it applies. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. For orders delivered to the UK, USA or EU, the price you pay at checkout includes any import duties and taxes — there's nothing extra to pay on delivery. For other countries, local import charges may apply and are your responsibility.
Payments are handled securely by Shopify Payments and our other payment providers (including PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay). Card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer.
Occasionally an item may be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our dispatch procedure — where an error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as such, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Discount codes: one code per order, applied at checkout. Codes may carry their own conditions (expiry, single use, first-order-only) — those conditions apply.
Making and dispatching your order
Everything we sell is made to order in our workshop in Bridgend, Wales. We dispatch within 1–2 working days of your order. We don't work weekends, so an order placed on Friday gets started on Monday.
Delivery
Delivery estimates for your country are shown on our shipping page and at checkout. Estimates count from dispatch and aren't guaranteed — during holidays or busy periods deliveries can take longer. Every order is sent tracked, and your tracking number is in your shipping confirmation email.
The products become your responsibility once they're delivered to you or a person you've nominated. If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated window, contact us at help@cover-up.com with your order number — we'll investigate straight away and put it right.
Cancelling before dispatch
While your order is still unfulfilled, you can cancel it yourself from your order status page or your account at www.cover-up.com/account. Once cancelled, your refund goes back to your original payment method. Because we dispatch quickly, it's best to cancel as soon as you can — once an order has been dispatched, the returns process below applies instead.
Returns and exchanges — our 60-day Happiness Guarantee
Every order is backed by our 60-day Happiness Guarantee: if you're not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return or exchange it within 60 days of delivery. Returns and exchanges start at www.cover-up.com/apps/returns.
Unless an item is faulty or we've made a mistake with your order, you pay the cost of posting your return back to us — the correct return address (UK or USA, depending on where you are) is given in the returns portal. We recommend getting proof of postage and keeping it until we've confirmed receipt.
Items should be returned with reasonable care taken and sensibly packed for the journey. If an item is returned damaged because it wasn't reasonably packed, or shows use beyond what's needed to inspect it, we may reduce the refund accordingly.
Your EU/EEA right of withdrawal
If you're in the EU, Norway or Iceland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason. To exercise it: use our returns portal at www.cover-up.com/apps/returns (no reason needed), cancel from your account before dispatch, or email help@cover-up.com with a clear statement that you're withdrawing from your order. We'll email you confirmation as soon as your request reaches us.
Your statutory right doesn't require items to be unused — you're welcome to inspect them as you would in a shop — though we may reduce the refund if an item's value is diminished by handling beyond what's needed to check it. You pay the cost of returning the goods. We'll refund you within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, though we may wait until we've received the goods or proof of postage, whichever comes first. Our 60-day guarantee runs alongside and well beyond this right.
Refunds
We process refunds within 3 working days of your return arriving back with us. Refunds go to your original payment method; your bank or card issuer may take a few further working days to show it. Original delivery charges are refunded where the return is due to a fault or our error, or where required under your statutory rights.
Faulty items
If something arrives damaged or develops a fault, we'll put it right — repair, replacement or refund, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (or your local equivalent). Start at www.cover-up.com/apps/returns or email help@cover-up.com. Where an item is faulty or we've made an error, we'll also cover reasonable return postage. Damage from everyday wear and tear, drops, water, or removal during a repair isn't a fault — but if you think what you're seeing is a defect, get in touch and we'll take a proper look. To help us sort things quickly, we may ask for a photo of the item — our returns portal collects one as part of a damage or wrong-item request.
Our products and your device
Our cases, skins and sleeves are designed to dress your device in natural materials. While they may offer a degree of incidental protection, they are not protective equipment, and we make no promise that they will prevent damage to your device. We're not responsible for damage to a device — or anything else — caused by drops, impacts, water or other accidents while using our products, or by applying or removing a product other than in line with our guidance. (This doesn't affect our responsibility for faults in the products themselves, or anything else we can't lawfully exclude.)
Magnet safety
Some of our products — MagSafe cases and wireless chargers — contain magnets. If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted medical device, keep these products a safe distance away (we suggest at least 15cm) and consult your doctor or the device manufacturer's guidance. Keep magnetic products away from credit cards and other magnetically sensitive items too.
Our liability when you buy from us
If we fail to comply with these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of our breach, up to the price of the products you bought. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses — we sell to consumers. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Events beyond our control
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — postal strikes, extreme weather, supplier failures and the like. If something like this affects your order, we'll tell you as soon as we can and pick things up as soon as it's resolved; if the delay becomes substantial, you can cancel and receive a full refund.
A few practical points
Our workshop is staffed 9am–5pm (UK time), Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Wales. We'll contact you using the email address on your order; notices are considered received 24 hours after sending. We may update these terms from time to time — the version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, together with our privacy policy and our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations policy, are the whole agreement between us for your use of the website and your orders.
