Yes. The wood is FSC-certified, laser-cut and hand-sanded with a natural oil-and-wax finish; the stone is real slate, split thin. Nothing is printed — the pattern is the material, which is why no two skins are the same.
Yes — with a little heat and a little patience. Warm one corner with a hairdryer, then peel slowly, adding a little heat as you go; it comes away in one piece and any small bits of residue rub off with your thumb. Worth knowing: skins are single-use — once one’s been removed the adhesive has given all it’s got, so it can’t move to another device.
