Cookies

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we actually use, and how to manage them. It works alongside our privacy policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device that lets a website recognise and remember you — keeping your basket as you browse, remembering your country and currency, that sort of thing. Some cookies are ours ("first-party"); some are set by the services we use ("third-party").

The cookies we use

These are the same four categories you'll see in our cookie banner, where you can allow or decline each one:

  • Required — set by Shopify, the platform our store runs on. These make the basics work: your basket, checkout, signing in, and remembering your cookie choices. The site can't function without them.
  • Personalization — remember your preferences and actions, like which country and currency you're browsing in and which products you've viewed, to make your visit smoother and show you relevant products.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Google's analytics tools for this.
  • Marketing — help us understand whether our advertising works, and let our email service recognise you if you've subscribed. Set by Google, Klaviyo and Shopify.

You can change your choices at any time via the cookie preferences link in the banner, or your browser settings.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser's settings — usually under "Privacy" or "Preferences". Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the site working (your basket, in particular). The links in the table above let you opt out of individual services, and Your Online Choices offers broader controls for advertising cookies. You may need to repeat your choices on each device or browser you use.
